Today, ClickThroughMarketing, one of the UK’s fast-growing Internet and search engine marketing companies, announced a new call tracking add-on for Google Analytics. The Company’s clients will now be able to track phone calls from any source on their website, such as Pay-per-click, forums, affiliates, etc.
Simple tracking of phone call conversions is far from novel in today’s day. But, the ability to implement call tracking using the same metrics as all other conversions, in real-time on Google Analytics, is still relatively new. For ClickThroughMarketing, putting call conversions on the same scale as sales, enquiry forms and email subscribes, allows them to more accurately measure their clients’ online marketing campaign ROIs and Costs Per Acquisition.
This free service will provide “the missing link for many companies, allowing them complete tracking for all aspects of their online business,” according to Grant Harvey, MD, the new application’s developer.
As call-tracking services pop-up among the competitors in the telephony analytics space, companies will be able to measure the marketing/sales value of phone conversions alongside other trackable forces.
