Today, at the LA Twitter Conference, Twalkin announced their launch of the free, real-time, onetouch broadcast and voice bridging application. What Twitter and Facebook have done to connect people through PCs, whether in business or in their personal lives, Twalkin, beta, is attempting to accomplish by phone.
For me, getting excited about things like voice broadcasts, cloud telephony, virtual toll free numbers, and basically anything new related to new technology, phones and voice, is a pretty regular occurrence. Yet, even for those of you out there who aren’t voice technology geeks, this new application will get you to say “wow!”

My question about Twalkin is: who will use it? The video mentions business, family and friends. Before Twitter I would have been more skeptical about businesses actually using a platform like this. But, if Twitter has managed to attract even top CEOs, then maybe Twalkin will too.
